Membership Area



    We invite you to be a part of what we are and do.  We have two ways to do this.  Associate and Active Memberships.

Associate Membership - This type of membership is open to anyone and everyone.  It requires no active organizational commitment hours.  
Membership is Calendar year to Calendar year.

Associate Membership Benefits

**RLHC ID Card (Cannot be used for free admission to LARF.)
**Access to RLHC Chatter Group
**May feast with us and LARF Cast at the DDI during LARF.

Active Membership - This type of membership is open to anyone wishing to actively participate in RLHC during the year.  There is an organizational commitment hour of 4 hours per year.  This can be accomplished by participating in a RLHC sponsored event.  Most active members willing give much more than the required 4 hours during the year.  This membership type is subject to approval by the Board of Directors.  Before applying for this type of membership please consult one of the organizational officers or board members.

Unless you apply in person we do not accept cash.  Check or money order made out to RLHC is acceptable.  A receipt for your dues along with your ID card will be mailed to you.

If you are under 16 years of age please note that your application/membership must be accompanied by a membership of a parent or guardian.  

Active members participating in demonstrations, school visits, promotional visits, etc are required to have a well thought out, approved period character.  Preferably a character with a period occupation.  This type of membership is subject to approval by the Board Of Directors.  Before applying for this type of membership please consult one of the Board of Directors or organizational officers.  Members are responsible for their own garb and garb must be approved by one of the following:

Vice-President
Treasurer
RLHC Secretary/Spokesperson
or LARF Garb Director

Final garb approval deadline is October 9th, 2010 for this faire season and is required before participation in school visits, promotional events, etc.

If you don't have a character/occupation one will be provided for you.  Garb will need to be appropriate to the occupation.  As we are a working/merchant class village there are no Nobles per se.  (What we are looking for is period demonstrations - Candle Making, Cooking, Baking, Textiles, Wood Carving, Tanner, etc that would have been an occupation in a typical village circa 1565).

Grants/Donations - Donations, gifts and grants are always welcome and most appreciated.  If you are interested in being a sponsor or providing a donation or grant please give us a call or drop us an e-mail.
