Demonstrations
We, at the Renaissance Living History Center, provide daily period demonstrations of 16th Century daily life during the Louisiana Renaissance Festival. We take you back to the year 1565. Queen Elizabeth is our Monarch. The Baron Stephan DeBauchery is our govenoring Noble. We live and work in and around our Village of Albright. There are many diverse but complimentary professions within the Village. When you visit be sure to look for as many as you can find. Feel free to talk with and ask question of the Villagers. Watch as the Villagers use period tools, utensils and processes in support of the daily routine of the Village.
Below is a compilation of the Village of Albright professions for the 2014 LARF season. If you would like to do a demonstration, please notify the member of the productions team who is handling demonstrations prior to the start of LARF by (September/October). In order to properly prepare yourself for one of these professions, you are required attend LARF's cast workshops each month for assistance with character development and interactive theatre skill development. If you would like to be a guest demonstrator, please contact William Delmar.
Note: Filling a profession is subject to the approval of Guild Master. Approval is based on demonstration needs, appropriate garb and character appropriateness. If you intend to create a new profession, please let us know as soon as possible.
