Membership Information

We invite you to be a part of who we are and what we do by enrolling in our Active Membership.

Voting Membership
This type of membership is open to anyone wishing to actively participate in RLHC during the year.  There is an organizational commitment of 6 hours per year and payment of annual dues.  This can be accomplished by participating in a RLHC sponsored event.  Most active members willingly give much more than the required 6 hours during the year.  This membership type is subject to approval by the Board of Directors.  Before applying for this type of membership please consult one of the organizational officers or board members.

Membership Benefits
  • Access to RLHC Facebook Group
  • Access to the grazing table in the Dripping Dog Inn during festival days
  • Participation in RLHC activities

  • Please request an application for active membership.

Donations and correspondence can be sent to us at the following:

Attn:  Membership

Unless you apply in person we do not accept cash.  Check or money order made out to RLHC is acceptable.  A receipt for your donations will be mailed to you.

If you are under 16 years of age please note that your application for membership must be accompanied by a membership of a parent or guardian.

Active members participating in demonstrations, school visits, promotional visits, etc are required to have a well thought out, approved period character.  Preferably a character with a period occupation.  This type of membership is subject to approval by the Board Of Directors.  Before applying for this type of membership please consult one of the Board of Directors or organizational officers.  Members are responsible for their own garb and garb must be approved by RLHC.

Final garb approval deadline is September workshop for this faire season and is required before participation in school visits, promotional events, etc.

If you don't have a character/occupation one will be provided for you.  Garb will need to be appropriate to the occupation.  What we are looking for is period demonstrations.  Some examples of what already exists in our village is: Candle Making, Cooking, Baking, Textiles, and Wood Carving.  We are currently seeking new demonstrations to add to our village.  Please contact us today if you would like to participate.

Grants/Donations - Donations, gifts and grants are always welcome and most appreciated.  If you are interested in being a sponsor or providing a donation or grant please give us a call or drop us an e-mail.  As always, donations are tax-deductible as RLHC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
